Hi I’m Warana from Kawakawa Primary School,
Today I had to make a Haiku poem. That shows the beauty of nature like trees or flowers or the sky. Also it had to have 17 syllables in three and it had to make sense. Mine was about roses we also learned to clap to find out how many syllables are in a word and name, That is it bye.
HI I’m Warana and Today I was doing my time tables. I’m stuck on my 5 8 and 10’s time tables it’s really hard for me but my friend Ngakau tells me if I keep trying I’ll can do it so I practice sometimes 
after school. I Do my time tables my doing the same one over and over till I can remember it. that’s all bye.
Today Me and my friend Ngakau had to make a poster of a animal we used canva if you don’t know what Canva is it is a website you can make posters and power points I picked a ocelot for the poster then me and my friend Ngakau had to find five facts about ocelots and put them in the poster If you are thinking what the poster looks like here is a poster.
On Monday my School had to jump all day for a fundraiser my School fundraised over 7000 dollars for the New Zealand heart foundation all the seniors had to jump at 2:55 till 2 pm when ever one in the whole School had to jump at 2:30 till 2:45 and room 6 and to jump at 10:40 till 10:55 pm and room 5 had to jump at 10:55 till 11:10 pm and every class had a different time to jump at it was fun jumping because we got to play blue shell and teddy bear with the jump rope and played helicopter and that’s really it.
Hi I’m Warana and I have been learning how to make a perspective writing from my amazing teacher Whea Jess she has been teaching me and her class in perspective writing there is 1 idea then your next idea and so on that is basically it and i got nothing more to say bye have a good day.
Hello everyone I’m Warana from Kawakawa Primary School. Today I was learning about fractions. I learned that 1/2 is a half or two pieces of a whole and 1/4 is a quarter of a whole piece. I liked how easy it was to understand fractions. I shared a fractions poster for some people who read this post to learn about fractions too.
Room 5 and 6 Waka Trip
Last Wednesday my class Room 5 went with Room 6 to a Waka Trip in Waitangi.
Room 5 had to go first and Room 6 was after this. We went all the way to the 🌊waterfalls🌊 in Haruru Falls. We had to sing a few songs to use the motor but at the end we got to use the motor half of the way back. After we got back we started eating some food then Room 6 went off on their ride on the waka. We went to the beach and did a treasure hunt. We had to find some sea glass, and something beginning with the first letter of your name and some other things. After Room 6 came back we went all the way back to Kawakawa on the bus and at the end of the day I Learnt that Waitangi got it’s name from the events of what happened to Hinewhare.
Making Easter hats
Last week me and my class started making Easter hats out of cardboard. I used my hat I used to go play in to make my Easter hat. I asked a teacher to cut out my bunny ears and I used colored paper to cover my bunny ears but my ears wouldn’t stick to the top of my hat and I couldn’t finish my hat so I gave up and started helping my friend Ngakau with his Easter hat but at the end of the day I had fun making and helping with the easter hats.
On Monday some guys came to teach our school kawakawa pirmary the guys Teach us show us the how plane safety works and how the plane takes of the ground and so on i don’t know anymore then that because I wasn’t here the day they where here I got all this information from my friends that help me do this
Today I made a poster about myself. It had some things I liked and some things I didn’t like and I learned how to do WORD ART. If don’t know what word art is it’s just a faster way to get big letters. Now I know how to do take a picture because my teacher ,showed me how to do that.
